August 24th, 1939. Droplets of rain flowed down my window like tears down the cheeks of some heartbroken lover. The water pooled into the streets and is consumed by the gutter, mixed along with the filth and ♥♥♥♥ of the city… I was spending the day like any other Thursday… Drinking more than I should, and making half-hearted attempts to get some reading done. That’s when… She, knocked on my door.
Don’t Fear the Reefer is a noir themed Hotline Miami level inspired from 1940s Detective films and Sin City graphic novel. Featuring hard boiled private eye Manny Pardo, a sexy femme fatale, three new weapons ( M3 grease gun, Winchester Model 12, and Thompson submachine gun), six Noir theme songs, a medium difficulty 4 floor level and a unique black and white aesthetic. Join Pardo as he tries to uncover the mystery behind the disappearance of Charlie Black
As much as I’d love to continue the story, I don’t have the time as I’m preoccupied with Human Bean 3 and real life responsibilities. While I may return to it down the line, unless I get someone to take over the majority of the work, I’d not count on seeing more. This was just an idea I’d had kicking around for months now and I really wanted to try it. So be happy you even got this.
