Description:

Lately, any campaign involving the Lizardmen (noticed during a playthrough with Oxyotl in the last DLC) I found had little to no reason to ever build the geomatic web buildings. Their benefits were greatly de-incentivized because they’re expensive as hell and barely provide a boost compared to other province capital buildings.

This is an attempt to incentivize building them without being too overbearing of a change compared to a vanilla Lizardmen campaign (which still needs help! CA plz!)

Vanilla Geomantic Web buildings:

  • Level 3 – Better geo web, +10% income from all buildings
  • Level 4 – Better geo web, +12% income from all buildings
  • Level 5 – Better geo web, +15% income from all buildings

Modded Geomantic Web buildings:

  • Level 3 – Better geo web, +10% income from all buildings, diplomacy +10 /w Lizardmen
  • Level 4 – Better geo web, +12% income from all buildings, diplomacy +12 /w Lizardmen
  • Level 5 – Better geo web, +15% income from all buildings, diplomacy +15 /w Lizardmen

A loreful reason for this change might be something like… "I’m the lizardmen faction that’s bringing about the Great Plan yo! Like, follow, and subscribe (to my version of the Plan)!" Also useful because Mazdamundi is a stubborn jerk even when you’re single-handedly destroying Chaos, he still won’t help >:(

4 full provinces should be enough to counteract Mazdi’s typical aversion. By then, the snowballing is coming into play so you can unite the various factions.

Compatibility:

No scripts are modified, only extra rows added to the database table, so it should be compatible with nearly everything! Can be safely added/removed during a campaign.
