Wrangler/Sentry

The most infamous weapon from TF2 is now in Teardown.

FEATURES:

Sentry with 2 modes. Automated and Wrangler.

If the wrangler is equipped the sentry will enter wrangler mode, where it can be directly controlled to fire where you are aiming.

Or holster the wrangler for the sentry to enter automatic mode, it will seek out any targets and automatically destroy them when in range.

Spawnable targets. Spawn these targets and the sentry will shoot them.

Spawnable HOSTILE sentry. This sentry cannot be controlled, and instead will attack you.

RED and BLU Sentry variants.

Rumour has it there is a classified and even more powerful sentry that can be built using this tool…

Maybe there is a secret code or password that can be used to access it.

HOW TO USE:

1 Equip wrangler.

2 Press G to open menu

3 Left Click (or fire) to place the sentry. (must be on relatively flat ground) press R to swap sentry colour.

4 Equip wrangler to aim the sentry manually, press left click (or your fire button) or holster to enter automatic mode

5 To move/respawn the sentry open the menu and Right Click (or grab), then left click again to spawn.

To use targets:

Spawn a target from the spawn menu, it wont become active until it is placed.

If you want to make your own targets, just use a shape with the tag "mothsentryenemy"

if you make your targets be careful not to use a weirdly shaped shape, as the sentry will aim for the centre of the shape, and if there is nothing there, then it will just shoot the empty space!

If you wish to use the hostile enemy in your own map, then use one of the hostile sentry instances from the mod folder.

But you will need to change the "powered" parameter to true.
