Town Building Style Mod
This mod changes the years that certain town building styles are able to be constructed to make more varied and realistic towns. Aims to stop late game towns being filled purely with ultra modern white box buildings.
By default the game has three building sets:
Set 1 – Old traditional style stone and wood buildings. By default these spawn 1850 to 1900. I have increased this to allow them to keep spawning until 1955, when this building style finally stopped being built.
Set 2 – Brick and painted render buildings. By default these spawn 1900 to 1970. I have changed this so they can keep spawning forever as buildings in these styles are still being built today.
Set 3 – Modern white boxy buildings with flat roofs. By default these start spawing from 1970. I have left this as it is, but because set 2 can keep spawning you get more variety in late game cities.
Ideally i would have liked to stop concrete tower blocks in set 2 spawning until the 1950’s, but this is impossible as the game will crash if it can’t level up a building to a tower block from 1900.
