2LW Inspired: Seyvrosk-West Airfield
Inspired by the legacy 2LW Project Altrius Maps. Now the second Map in my "Inspired" Series:
"Despite Hettland’s strong defense in the Bocage Country, within nine weeks Syrvanian forces broke out of West Hettland, storming into the Leersog heartland. Capturing the Free City of Seyvrosk, an important industrial center and logistical hub vital to Hettland’s continued resistance, quickly became a top priority. As Syrvanian forces advance, elements of the 6th Syrvanian Armored Guards Regiment are ordered to seize enemy airfields in the city’s vicinity. Although evacuated just hours ago by the Hettic Royal Air Service, remaining Home Army units are expected to provide stiff resistance here at Seyvrosk-West Airfield…"
THE MAP:
A mix of combined-arms attacks, CQB areas and long range zones. Lots of hedgerow cover/potential ambush points, defensive emplacements and open fields of fire mean that this map should provide a strong challenge to both sides. (FYI for attacking players: using smoke is highly advised!)
As a Syrvanian (Eagle) attack map, they’re provided 12 tanks in their assault. Significant numbers of turrets and emplacements (over 40!) are provided for the defenders, as well as a handful of slow-spawning armor for counterattacks. To prevent capture, all remaining unserviceable aircraft have been scuttled.
THIS MAP IS MEANT TO BE PLAYED WITH AND IS BALANCED FOR THE 2ND LEERSOG WAR WEAPONS/SKINS PACK!
(I can’t guarantee that turrets or vehicles from other specific mods will be positioned correctly, as it was tested with only the above mentioned mod. Sorry!)
