– Toggleable IR strobe beacon on player helmets.

– Inventory item: equip and activate the IR strobe beacon (Watch Slot).
– ACE compatible, set the "Interaction Method" addon setting to either "ACE" or "Both".
– Persistent, the IR strobe beacon remains active even after the player dies, meaning the IR strobe will continue to emit it’s signal, aiding your teammates in locating your body. The beacon only turns off once you respawn (If active).
SELF:
– Obtain the "Helmet IR Beacon" inventory item.
– Open your inventory and equip the "Helmet IR Strobe Beacon" in the watch slot.
– While in-game, use either the scroll wheel action, or the ACE interaction menu (Equipment-> Toggle IR Beacon) to toggle the IR strobe beacon on or off.
– The configurable keybind can also be used to toggle your OWN beacon (Default: Ctrl + L).
UNITS:
– Ensure the unit has a "Helmet IR Beacon" inventory item assigned in their watch slot.
– Command AI squad members through the communication menu: Supports -> Commands -> Toggle IR Beacon.
– Walk up to a unit, and while looking at their head. Use either the scroll wheel action, or the ACE interaction menu to toggle their IR beacon.
– High command mode compatible.
