Goal:
This mod adds a new military building chain to all settlements that specialises in upgrading recruited units.
The goal is to provide a meaningful method for cities to specialise producing quality units without forcing the player into a ‘must have’ solution to remain competitive. This mod should help make racial units feel more relevant into the late game, as well as help keep pace with harder level AI’s and infestations that can already produce units at high ranks, although they’ll also have access to the same buildings and benefits.
It achieves this through adding rank bonuses to racial units at each building tier, as well as a general unit focussed bonus designed to scale throughout the game and keep each building relevant.
Each building is tied to the settlement level and boosted by population. The intention is to reward larger more established cities with the ability to produce better troops, and limit the benefits of spamming many low tier cities. The mod follows the base game principles of ‘no drawbacks’ to building upgrades.

Recruiter: (Unlocked by Town Hall I, 100 Gold 250 Production, Boost with 5 Population)
+5 Draft income
+1 Draft income per Population
Racial TI units are recruited with +2 ranks
Trainer: (Unlocked by Town Hall II, 170 Gold 450 Production, Boost with 10 Population)
Racial TII units are recruited with +2 ranks
Racial TI units are recruited with +1 rank
Units produced in this city gain ‘Experience’ (+10% Experience)
Mentor: (Unlocked by Town Hall III, 280 Gold 750 Production, Boost with 15 Population)
Racial TIII units are recruited with +2 ranks
Racial TII units are recruited with +1 rank
Units produced in this city gain ‘Inspired’ (-10% Upkeep Cost)
Army Leader: (Unlocked by Town Hall IV, 440 Gold 1300 Production, Boost with 20 Population)
+5 Imperium income
Racial TIII units are recruited with +1 rank
Units produced in this city gain ‘Elite’ (+1 Defense +1 Resistance)

All unit assets and text are copied from the base game.
As such this mod should be compatible with everything.
