Bender
After months of working on and off and a lot of headaches, Bender from Futurama finally joins the fray using his MUGEN sprites and he comes with a lot of special additions! Futurama is one of my favorite shows and I wanted to do this character justice since he’s one my favorite characters of all time.
He has 9 intros, 13 palette colors, 4 emotes, and extra moves that extend above the base attacks.

The explosion sprites are from Dragon Ball Z: Legend of the Super Saiyan which were ripped by Omega on the Spriters Resource
The inspiration for most of the specials comes from a fanmade Bender Smash Bros. moveset video by silentchatterbox52

—-Other Notes—-
Bender’s up-strong has 3 different animations depending on how long you charge with the longest one doing the most damage and knockback.
Bender’s up-special goes up higher in the air then on the ground, but you can use the grounded version twice to hunt down your opponents in the air making up for Bender’s poor jump height and air speed.
Bender’s extra input moves conflict with other moves and actions.
Aerial neutral special glides Bender across the air giving him another movement option.
I would love if you provide feedback on the character to make him eventually tournament-legal. I hope you have fun with this character!
