James’s Pop Clothing Tweaks
A simple mod that makes some tweaks/fixes to pop visuals.
List of Tweaks
- Rulers of a Japan that completed the Honorable Restoration but without Monarchy will no longer wear nothing
- Non-Buddhist Southeast Asian clergymen pops (e.g. the Vietnamese Confucian clergy) will no longer wear nothing
- Non-Traditionalist politicians in the Korean Empire will now westernize their clothes
- The NGF and Germany, if formed by Prussia, will use Prussian military outfits (i.e., coats/shirts & pants)
- Austria and Austria-formed Germany will use uniforms more closely resembling historical mid-19th century Austrian uniforms
- Rulers of non-monarchy Koreas now wear hanbok instead of royal clothes or nothing
- Military pops in British & French subjects now wear the correct hats, especially non-Europeans
Except where stated above, all tweaks have game rules that can be used to enable or disable it in case any of them aren’t to your liking or if they conflict with other mods.
Designed to be compatible with other mods that add or change the appearance of characters/pops. There may still be conflicts in rare instances, especially with older clothing mods which still overwrite vanilla clothing files instead of creating their own.
Users of the Community Outfit Mod should disable the use of the Prussian and Austrian uniforms in the game rules, as COM provides their own (and of higher quality).

List of Previous Tweaks
These are tweaks that used to be in this mod, but have since been REMOVED because they are now fixed in or added to the base game
- Academic pops will wear the unused mortarboard cap found in the game assets
- Academic pops will have the unused academic animation found in the game assets
- Manchu (and other Sinosphere and Han Chinese) agitators now correctly wear Chinese agitator clothing
- Fixed color palette for Empire of Korea military coats
- Korean pops now exclusively wear hanbok, removing all instances of Chinese outfits
- Traditionalist politicians in Japan after the Honorable Restoration will wear kimonos instead of nothing
- Child characters in Japan after the Honorable Restoration will no longer wear nothing
