No cave or space ambience
A simple mod. All sfx files for space and underground biomes are replaced with silent .ogg files, with exception of magma and volcano biomes, that were edited to still have bubbling and fire cracking in near silence.
For those, who find it unsettling and strange that in the environment, that is supposed to either supress noises or don’t have the ability to provide sound transferring at all, you are constantly hearing whirring and humming of some distant Niagara fall along with gigantic power station cleaning its cooling towers.
Basically, a recreation of the old giraffe-era mod by Markelius[community.playstarbound.com], but for release game version.
Suggestions for actual sounds of the caves and caverns are welcome.
Probably wouldn’t work with custom biomes, if they add their own underground ambience. Other than that, should be compatible with everything, that doesn’t edit sfx/environmental files, but who knows. Let me tell, if you find any issues.
