Description:

Randomized Urban Counter Terrorism Missions

Spit Second is a randomized very tight CQC mission. It will generate a different compact town to clear each time it’s run. It is a very close quarters building clearing kind of mission.

Kill or capture the enemy, rescue the hostages, and secure all the enemies weapons. There are lots of options in the game parameters. The game can be punishingly hard or relatively easy depending on the options you choose. They will be remembered between games.

The police van is a virtual arsenal. When you exit the arsenal, your loadout is saved and will be used on the next game if allowed by the options (arsenal isn’t limited by faction).

The laptop on the table has an option to end the game early. It automatically ends if all players are in the exit area, all enemy are dead/captured, and all hostages are rescued/killed.

Pressing your ‘reveal target’ key (usually the T key) will order enemy to drop their weapons, which they just might do.

Flashbang grenades are built into the mission but can be disabled or limited in the options.

Approach a door and press your ‘watch’ key (usually O) and you deploy an under door camera to get a view of the other side.

Walk up to the paramedic to get healing and for him to let you know how much healing you can still receive (options in parameters at role assignment).

The briefing in game has explanation of all the settings and other features of the game.

It will work with dlc/mod factions and buildings, has options for respawn, revive, limited healing, difficulty, and much more.

The gameplay was inspired by games like Rainbow Six, SWAT, and Zero Hour.

This is a coop mission, so it can only be played in the multiplayer part of arma, although you can play it solo and private without being accessible to anyone else. This is how to play this mission:

Launch Arma. Once it’s started select ‘multiplayer’ then ‘server browser’
At the top select ‘host server’. A list of settings will show up. Look at the ‘HOST’ option. If you have it set to ‘LAN’ then it will be a private game. Click the ‘Host Server’ button.
Next you should choose the map on the left (Altis), and the mission on the right (Split Second).
Then click ‘play’.
