gm_construct 13 beta

In 2012 I was following gm_construct 13 progress, testing, saving links, and at that time I even ended up getting and publishing an unmodified version of the map to preserve history. Unfortunately I never liked that some content was removed and now, 9 years later, I finally decided to get my hands dirty and do something about it!
Obviously I needed a little artistic freedom to blend all the pieces together naturally, consistently, since we have many unfinished or unrefined parts mixed with map resizes, but I didn’t leave important features out! Each version got carefully looked, and even the doubtful things are back! I also took the liberty of integrating some improvements.

So there’s no such thing as "real" gm_construct 13 beta, what we have is an evolution which ended up in the map we all know and love.

Check if disabling your addons solves it, some can cause reflection issues.
You can also disable reflections:

A last resort: extract the map in addons/gmc13b, unsubscribe and run this:
buildcubemaps
gmc13b has lots of new shapes to render, so even with optimizations it’s still heavy. However, the biggest villain is the 3D Skybox, which loves eating FPS. So you can gain FPS by disabling it:
r_3dsky 0
Download gm_construct beta 13 v2 if you want a game that we can call "more playable". E.g. I removed the whiteroom door.
Remember to disable this version if using V2 because they "conflict" a bit.
