About:
Steady Research is born out of a desire for a smooth tribal playthrough with Vanilla Factions Expanded: Tribals and need to navigate the dozens of technologies added by my extensive mod list. It ensures that your colony will always be working on the most cost-effective research available, letting you focus on building and expanding.
Key Features:
- Automatically selects the lowest-cost research from the lowest available tech tier.
- Prioritizes early game research progression.
- Configurable mod settings to enable or disable the feature at will.
How It Works:
Once installed, Steady Research runs quietly in the background. When your colony completes a research project, the mod instantly queues up the cheapest available research at the lowest tech tier. No more micromanaging your research tree!
Options:
Toggle the auto-research feature through the mod settings menu. Requires a game restart to take effect.
Subscribe and activate it in your mod list. I placed it at the end, but it shouldn’t matter.
Steady Research is compatible with other mods. I’ve 400+ mods in my game. It’s been tested with Research Reinvented and it works fine. It will likely clash with mods that alter the same research mechanics. Let me know, but such instances should be rare.
