Better trade
In the current vanilla version, trade route will keep increasing until they barely make a profit, or until you don’t have more convoy. That means that trade routes will almost never be profitable, unless you micro-manage your convoy shortage, which feels weird and gamey. That doesn’t make sense that trade routes keep increasing even if that means losing money.
With this mod, trade routes will try to maximize their profit margin. They will stop growing earlier so they stay profitable, also using less convoys. That means obviously the price of the goods will not change as much, but I feel like trade feels better like this. You actually want your trade routes to grow now, while in vanilla after a certain size they’re just a waste of convoys.
Trade routes also start smaller than in Vanilla, and increase is size slower. They also cost less bureaucracy. That means trade is much more accessible for smaller countries.
Those changes will make trade centers more profitable (once again, if you have an excess of convoys), and therefore will make the PB more powerful.
