Android 18 (Hyper DBZ)
(COLLAB WITH PEACE/CHARLES POOPYDOODLE)
Android 18 from Dragon Ball Z.
18 is a distance demon that relies on projectiles, traps and setups to get her kills. She has a variety of different Ki attacks she can use to keep her opponents on their toes, and she has decent kill power to boot.
Neutral Special: Ki blast. Android 18 fires a single Ki blast. If you press special again at the right time, you can quickly fire another one. There are also different variations to the ki blasts – holding down will make 18 dash backwards quickly, firing two ki blasts slower, and holding up makes her lunge forward, firing 2 ki blasts in quick succession while also firing them lower. Holding shield before the projectile comes out will cause it to be stationary projectile called Energy Mine. While out, this version of the projectile can be hit by 18, and will go flying at different angles and distances depending on the type of move that hit it. In the air, she instead uses Infinity Bullet, which sends the opponent diagonally downwards upon impact.
Side Special: Bound. Android 18 leaps into the air, functionally similar to ZSS’s Down B but moving at a more horizontal distance. During the move, pressing attack will send 18 flying downwards, spiking opponents that contact her. Pressing special will have her fire a ki blast in the opposite direction, giving her a little more horizontal speed in the process. Pressing grab will start Eternal Revolution, where she latches onto the opponent, spins them high into the higher, and crashes down onto them. There is no ending the move, so you have to be careful with it offstage or you WILL die.
Up Special: Flip Kick. 18 does a flip kick upwards.
Down Special: High Pressure Energy Wave. Android 18 takes a second to charge up a deadly energy beam. You can aim this up and down, and in the neutral position she will aim down and the beam will fire out of the ground. In the air, she can only aim downwards.
Taunt: Android 18 can taunt with the assist button as long as your assist meter isn’t full.
Credits to NicotineFist for making the sprites, and TeamZ2 for making Hyper Dragon Ball Z. Very good mugen game, you should check it out.
