Fumo Marisa

One day a joke character awoke… and I took adding it seriously. Fumo Marisa has been dispatched to Rivals of Aether!

Fumo Marisa is a small, lightweight rush down character with poor reach outside of her disjointed broom attacks: She only has little arms, after all. She makes up for it with fast frame data and movement on the ground and in the air.

Oh, and she has a Star Gauge. For moves!

Neutral Special: Amulet Spark

A blast of energy from Fumo Marisa’s amulet. Useful combo move and get off me tool.

Forward Special: Little Witch Leyline

Fumo Marisa hops on the back of her most treasured companion, her broom, and dashes forward at high speed with reckless abandon. It will not stop going until you jump, hit an enemy, hit a wall, or run gloriously to your demise.

By running into a wall you can ‘bonk jump’, taking a little recoil damage but acting as an extra wall jump. You can only do this twice per airtime before going into pratfall.

Up Special: Miasma Firework

Down Special: Pocket Sun

Fumo Marisa sets down a totem at her location, even getting a float once per airtime. This totem can be hit with Forward Special to turn it into a projectile. When active, it turns neutral special into…

EX Neutral Special: Titanic Tao Surge

Costs two stars

An attack ‘borrowed without permission’ from a certain shrine maiden, Fumo Marisa’s amulet explodes in a powerful blast.

Extra Special: Master Spark

Costs one star

A high damage laser executed by pressing Attack and Special when you have enough stars in the Star Gauge.

There’s also an extra move executed by… actually, you can find out the rest of the stuff for yourself.
