Welcome to Maids of Orleans – the mod that introduces a lot of new content surrounding the legacy of Joan of the Arc!
A list of changes in this mod right now:
- New mission tree for Orleans! Take over French vassals from the inside, defend the legacy of the Maiden of Orleans, become a pearl of French culture and embrace yourself as the Militant Order of Nuns!
- New formable! Not only can you get a unique government in the early game, you can also form a nation of Sisterhood that intertwines the French identity with the legacy of Saint Joan! This nation has unique powerful national ideas and French missions.
- Choose your path! After the Pope let Saint Joan be burned alive, can he be truly be trusted?.. Choose your path – follow either Catholic, Protestant or Orthodox path. Each one provides you with different kind of flavor. Release an icon of Saint Joan, establish the holiday in her name or even become the first female Pope!
- New government reforms! After you become an Order of Nuns, you get access to a ton of new unique reforms! Protect women, grant them rights, get them to run your country and bring it to the glory! (Ever wanted to have a militarization mechanics with battle nuns?)
- New monument! A province of Orleans now has a Cathédrale Sainte-Croix d’Orléans monument in it. Nothing mega powerful, but it helps to feel the vibe of it!
