The JR East E129 series (E129系) is an DC electric multiple unit that operate in Niigata area. Its features a mix of transverse seating and longitudinal seating in the train compartment, striking a good balance between the number of seated passenger and the total capacity that suitable for the region.
Every specification is the same, except the name and the id was changed.
JR East E129 series
Length per car: 20m
Max Speed*: 120 km/h
Max passenger per car: ~220
Recommended train formation: 2 Cars, 2+2 Cars, 4 Cars, 4+2 Cars
*It was designed capable to run at 120 km/h. In regular services, it is operated at 110 km/h. If you want to simulate regular service in the real world, use the "Cruise speed" option in route interface and control the cruise speed at 110 km/h.
