Rosa, the Mechanical Maid
Rosa is one of many civilian robots, made to placate the Upper Class in the Neo Flame Empire. Rosa, however, disobeyed her programming and ended up joining a resistance group, using her various cleaning and cooking implements to fight against Loxodont’s regime.
Rosa is a disjoint-heavy zoner, with great range on most of her normals and disjointed hits. However, she is a slow heavyweight, many of her moves are slow, and she is lacking in a zoning game beyond her disjoints.

NEUTRAL SPECIAL: Radiation Cooker
Rosa’s arm morphs into a Microwave, and can charge for as long as the button is held. The charge can be stored, but there are clear thresholds for the charge levels, indicated by a glow around Rosa. Charging it too much will have it discharge an explosion, which can deal a lotta damage and knockback but leave her vulnerable.
SIDE SPECIAL: Clean Sweep
Rosa pulls a Broom from her Storage Compartment and pushes it forward, moving faster than her dash speed while leaving behind very short lived puddles that deal light damage. When the button is released, she’ll swing the broom for a wide hitbox. In the air, Rosa just jumps forward and swings the broom, a la Byleth’s Side B.
UP SPECIAL: High-Altitude Cleaning
Rosa’s legs turn into jets and propel herself upwards while unloading cleaning fluid downwards, which deals very little damage but function more to keep her safe and cover escapes.
DOWN SPECIAL: Vacuum Pack
Rosa places a portable vacuum cleaner, which stays as a trap and, in a limited range above itself, will drag foes that are in the air to the ground, completely halting their momentum. They can be destroyed easily with attacks, but can be pushed around with Rosa’s Side Special swing, or set to explode with any of her other attacks.
