Description:
What you’re getting:
  • Safe Cracker:
    A reporpused old mining drill modified to crack open locked secure lockers and toxin cabinets. Handy for looting wrecks, pirate submarines or abandoned outposts where you were unable to find the correct ID cards.

    It requires a lot of battery power and takes damage the longer it’s active and eventually breaks at which point it can only be deconstructed.

    To crack a target open you’ll need to place the safe cracker as close to the center of the object as possible. The further away it is from the center, the less damage it will deal and the longer it takes to crack open your target.

    After successful cracking, all the items from the container will drop to the floor and the container will need to be repaired to be usable again.

  • Overrides with new Sprites and Sounds:
    Also included are new damaged and broken state sprites for the secure locker and toxin cabinet as well as interaction sounds for both. But the overrides also make changes to their code to allow the safe cracker to automatically turn off and drop their content when the cracking was successful.

Known Issues:
  • Repairs on the secure locker and toxin cabinet need to be done by spam-clicking the repair button to "fail" the repair to get the item to become interactable again, because the game currently can’t trigger code on successful repairs. This should automatically get fixed with a future game update which introduces triggers on successful repairs.
