Some technical details about the map
- 12km by 12km
- 2.5 meter Cell size (Tools default)
- Improved satellite image to look better form the air
- 486,583 objects with 709 distinct models
- 4 villages (Robotyne, Novoprokopivka, Kopani and Il’chenkove)
This map took me about 3 weeks to do with a huge help of Game realistic map Tool, that did a big job making the map itself.
From then on i took on redefining the map with more details , and removing the stuff originally placed by the tool it self because it does not really do it that good , so it needs to be redone.
I didn’t want to release the map unfinished , because as people are already not reciving Game realistic tool too well and i get why , because people started flooding the workshop with unfinished maps made by this tool.
But almost whole map was remade by me from ground up part by part and the only original things that are left from generation process itself are some tree lines and some roads from the object side.
Some people had problems with maps done this way stating that – bots don’t follow roads and walk through buildings, i played this map multiple times with bots and I was experimenting with them and they work fine, but this is still Arma and bots sometimes do as they want on any map and go through objects. But for now I have not seen bots walking through buildings, vehicles are following roads to the point when they need to leave it to go offroad through the field and tree lines etc..
Politically driven comments will be removed. This is simply a terrain for Arma 3.
