LotR – MIV – Compatch
A patch that enables you to have both the the changes of the civil war mechanics, new casus belli types, alliances, and all other changes that More Interactive Vassals brings, with the loreful restrictions that LotR Realms in Exile needs to function.
A example are the exceptions that the files need to ignore the wilderness and thus don’t break the colonization mechanics of the LotR mod, as well as elven being less agressive and more restricted in declaring wars, etc.
Put this mod after all the mod being patched.
The files changed are:
- commoncasus_belli_typesinteractive_cb.txt, creates 2 new casus belli types, second_ai_subjugation_cb and de_jure_cbs and modifies the existing reclaim_relic_artifact_war;
- commoncharacter_interactionsinteractive_vassalize.txt, modifies the offer_vassalization_interaction, located on the vanilla/LotR 00_character_interactions.txt file;
- commoncharacter_interactionsinteractive_call_ally.txt, modifies the call_ally_interaction, located on the vanilla/LotR 00_alliance.txt file;
- commoncharacter_interactionsinteractive_negotiate_alliance.txt, modifies the negotiate_alliance_interaction, located on the vanilla/LotR 00_alliance.txt file;
- commoncharacter_interactionsinteractive_declare_war.txt, modifies the declare_war_interaction, located on the vanilla/LotR 00_war.txt file;
- commondecisionsinteractive_decisions.txt, adds ai_restore_holy_roman_empire_decision, that while not harmful, is not needed in the LotR mod, so I disabled it;
- commondefinesinteractive_main_defines.txt and commondefinesaiinteractive_ai_defines.txt, modifies some defines, preference was made mostly for MIV due to the specific changes;
- commonfactionsinteractive_factions.txt, this file modifies the peasant_faction, located on the vanilla/LotR 00_peasant_faction_new.txt file, the nation_fracturing_faction, located on the vanilla/LotR 00_nation_fracturing_faction.txt file, and also the populist_faction, located on the vanilla 00_populist_faction.txt file;
- commongame_rulesinteractive_game_rules.txt, I removed the changes to 2 vanilla game rules in preference of LotR, due to the specific changes;
- commonscripted_effectsinteractive_war_effects.txt, modifies the on_declared_war, located on the vanilla/LotR 00_war_effects.txt file, the war_for_imprison_effect, war_for_revoke_effect and war_for_retraction_effect, located on the vanilla/LotR 00_interaction_effects.txt file;
- commonscripted_modifiersinteractive_factions_scripted_modifiers.txt, adds the interactive_common_faction_modifiers, and modifies the independence_faction_create_blockers and the liberty_faction_modifiers, located on the vanilla/LotR 00_faction_modifiers.txt file;
- guiinteraction_declare_war.gui, I merged the changes from both mods;
Do note that MIV and PCA have a minor conflict, and thus if you are using on or both you need to choose wich of the compatches to use.
if you are only using More Interactive Vassals, then use the compatch:
LotR – MIV – Compatch.
if you are using only Pervasive Crown Authority, then use the compatch:
LotR – PCA – Compatch.
But if you are using both the mods above, then use:
LotR – MIV – PCA – Compatch.
