I Tram della serie 4600/4700 nascono come versione articolata della serie 5300. Analogamente alle Stanga romane, queste vetture utilizzano la Giostra Urbinati.
La serie 4601-4613 è dotata di frenatura elettro-pneumatica, mentre la serie 4714-4733 adotta la frenatura completamente elettrica.
Questi veicoli sono attualmente in uso nella rete Milanese ed hanno ricevuto, da pochissimi anni, un restyling approfondito.

The 4600/4700 series Trams were created as an articulated version of the 5300 series. Similarly to the Roman "Stanga" trams, these cars use the Giostra Urbinati articulation.
The 4601-4613 series is equipped with electro-pneumatic braking, while the 4714-4733 series adopts fully electric braking.
These vehicles are still in use in the ATM lines. They’ve been fully refurbished recently.
