Vanilla VOIP Radio Beeps
Inspired by the Addon-Free ArmA Radio (AFAR) by Phronk’s, but simplified. This is a script we use in our unit (TF811), but I thought I’d make it a standalone mod and share it with the public.
This simple mod adds Radio Clicks sounds and radio static noise to your VOIP, for a little radio immersion when using the Vanilla VOIP system.
EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE THE MOD LOADED, NOT JUST THE HOST/SERVER!
The radio beep sounds/animation comes from the mod, so those who don’t have the mod loaded won’t be able to hear the sound 🙂
Features:
1. Adds radio beeps and static to Global Channel (Talk To Global), Group Channel (Talk to Group), and Side Channel (Talk to Side).
2. Adds Hand Animations when using VOIP. You can change the settings per channel, either Hand to Earpiece or Hand to Vest.
3. Adds "Hello" gesture when using Talk to Direct.
4. Adds "Point" gesture when using Tactical Ping.
