Pump & Dump (Tank Refill and Purge)
Automatic Tank Refill and Purge Station. Refills your oxygen and jet pack fuel and empties your waste tanks. Automatically detects when and what type of tank is placed in the tank fill and begins filling the tank(s) according to whatever setting you set on the corresponding pressure regulator. This script will not allow you to accidentally over pressurise your tanks, thus blowing your base up. Even if you have the regulator set to its maximum setting, the script will only fill the tank to the tanks safe maximum. It will shut the regulators off 50kpa before the desired setting in order to bypass the slow process of trickle filling, as is the norm when pressure regulators near the desired setting. This saves time and power.
The purge station works in the opposite way and will completely empty any tank you place in the tank fill. It prevents mode change on the turbo pump so you don’t accidentally change the setting and cause an explosion. You can change the flow direction in the script if you have a different orientation for your turbo pump.
You need:
2 pressure regulators
3 kit canister storage
1 Turbo Volume Pump
Your tank fills should be hooked up to your oxygen, jet pack fuel and waste/pre-filter pipes. It is always good practice to use one way valves close to your tank fill (the waste one doesn’t matter) to prevent cross contamination of gasses. For example, if you place your waste tank into your oxygen fill by mistake.
