(CV CPU Tier 4, Class 55, Unlock Level 25, Alpha 12)
Primary roles: Space Fleet Carrier, Massive hangar and docking, Farm, Production, Defense, Shield, Warp.
Update 7/29/2020 – Removed one retractable rocket and flak turret. I for some reason thought 12 total of the group was allowed when it was actually 10. So this leaves 4 rocket turrets and 6 flak turrets which should keep all the turret counts in check with official game rules. Also it should no longer show in orange in the blueprint screen.
The MCRN-Leviathan Super Carrier is a massive fleet carrier also designed as a fleet Command and control center. This ship was a community project having many other authors doing parts of the interior space. There is a large LCD in the ship breaking down who did what.

With the growing threat of a potential Kriel invasion in the near future, the MCRN and UNN have signed a treaty to join forces in an attempt to counter this threat. Months of planning from top generals came up with a mission to head the Kriel off in distance space before they reached are backyards in the Sol system. Because of the vast distance and unknown mission length, a new class "Super Carrier" began construction to have the ability to transport a great deal of ships to the vast distance of space. As construction began, political debates questioned if crew members could coupe with a long and unknown mission time in deep space. It was decided to increase the size of the ship and offer plenty of entertainment options to ease the burden and increase troop morale. "Humans sent out for 3-10 years could lose there minds in deep space and our ships are only as good as the crew operating them." a study found. This lead to a number of cruise ship like entertainment areas not only allowing the Leviathan crew some much needed comfort but also other fleet ships crew could essentially take "shore" leave on the carrier. This lead to a number of typically non military facilities to be added to the ship such as bowling, swimming, tennis, racket ball, boxing, theatre, restaurants and bars, shooting range, and a number of other activities. Also being a command and control "Flagship", constant fleet communication was needed which lead to the installation of a UNN assembly area. "We will be simply to far away from our home worlds to receive timely mission orders therefore we need to take the decision makers with us." After over 8 months of construction, the ship was finally commissioned after a series of space trials. It is now joining up with many MCRN and Terran ships before embarking in distant space.
Technical aspects:
Considered a space carrier, this ship has no means of landing on planet surfaces, but if running a light load can in fact fly in planets atmospheres (1G). The ship can run at maximum cruising speed in space with a significant weight volume. Length – 342 Meters (1122 feet), 9 Decks at tallest point, combat steel hull with carbon substrate interior, max turret count for normal game rules including 2 artillery.
Technical aspects breakdown:
1. 8X320K storage, +112K storage, 112K Ammo storage, a large number of additional cargo boxes.
2. 3 Advanced constructors, 3 large constructors
3. 162 grow plots in 3 lanes, multiple fridges and food processors
4. Massive twin flight decks and massive hangar. Smaller CV’s can dock on flight decks.
5. Warp, T2 Shield, Teleporter, detector, 7 point wifi, 7 gravity generators (all needed)
6. 2 Internal quick launch runways, 2 suspended landing pads (in hangar area)
7. Repair bay and console, Med area with all extra specialize equipment
8. Maximum turrets allowed in game rules. No Launchers.
9. A wide range of crew areas and other crew related functions.
10. Command and control center, UNN Assembly
11. Compartmentalized O2 and multiple O2 dispensers
12. Large fuel and o2 capacity.
13. There really are just to many places to list, even the screen shots don’t show close to all the locations aboard.
There are 2 P menu options. Hangar lights, and Hangar Spot Lights. By default hangar lights are on and spot lights off. Turning on the spot lights does light up the hangar better, but could cause performance issues.
Notes: This ship was a large undertaking over ~8 months time by multiple authors. It is certainly too big for most all servers however it can be used in single or coop play. It is expensive and more than any player really needs however it also shows the potential of what can be done in EGS. Despite is size, it does perform well with weights and volumes and is 100% CPU compliant at tier 4. TeeWRX82 designed a CV to fit on the front mid landing zone with specific function. Unfortunately this ship was lost in a computer crash and never recovered. One last thing, the name Leviathan came from a comments vote for a from a list of comment selected names.
