Description:

This mod imports all Age of Charlemagne expansion pack units into a historically accurate Grand Campaign Scenario beginning in AD 705.

The year is AD 705 and the world is in a state of total war. In the Middle East and across North Africa, the Caliphate conquers all in its path. Seeking to halt the declining situation, the Emperor Justinian II has returned from exile in Khazaria to once again ascend the throne of the Byzantine Empire. Justinian II is equally as ruthless as he is ambitious, he plots nothing less than the full restoration of the Empire across the Middle East, North Africa and further afield in the West.

In Italy, the Lombards – driven to seek refuge in Italia by the Avar’s have set up their own powerful kingdom with allies and vassals joining their league. Further afield to the West, the Kingdom of Frankia is beset by Saxon and Viking incursions, they will need to exploit the full potential of their economic and military power if they are to overcome these challenges and keep their realm safe. Meanwhile in Britannia, the warring kingdoms of the Anglo-Saxons are under threat from Pictish, Welsh and Irish raiders, soon to be joined by formidable armies of Vikings.

Across Central and Eastern Europe, Slavs, Avar’s and Khazars are mobilising their armies for war, seeking to protect their peoples from war abound and exploit the weaknesses of other nations.
