TTT Loitering drone with missile system
This addon adds a completly new playstyle (for traitors) to TTT!
Introducing: The Loitering drone!
This flying missile launcher is perfect on open (meaning no ceiling) maps. It lets the user fly around and observe the innocents from above, aswell as letting them shoot up to 5 missiles at once.
Controlls:
-After buying the drone, youll receive a drone controller. Leftclick to deploy your drone, rightclick to take control of the drone.
-After taking control, the user can fly the drone using W and S (forwards/backwards), turn the drone using A and D and fly up and down using -Jump- and -Crouch-
-Shift (-Sprint-) makes the drone fly twice as fast
-By moving the mouse, the user can aim the missile system independently from the drone, i.e. the drone will NOT turn if you move your mouse. By pressing left-click, a missile is fired in the direction of you crosshair.
-Rightclick to leave the drone again. The drone will stay put until you retake control.
-If your drone is already deployed, leftclicking the drone with the drone controller will un-deploy / holster the drone back into the drone controller.
The drone can fire up to 5 missiles at once, after this you need to wait until the ammo recharges. Similiarly, the drone has 40 health and will slowly regenerate health. After the drone dies you can simply throw away the drone-controller.
The missiles themselves have a decent explosion radius but only do around 25 damage, otherwise this item would be completely overpowered.
You can also just park the drone above the map and use it as a surveillance camera.
NEW: You can now decide, if you want your view to automatically turn, if the drone turns.
To toggle between yes and no, press RELOAD while holding the drone controller.
NEW NEW: The old drone remote model has been removed and replaced by a WII Remote.
The old model was causing bugs (fps drops when dropping the controller, bone alignment issues when restarting the round and sometimes the model would be visible at the origin of the map).
The new model does look a bit worse and less realistic, however I think a bug free experience is more important than visuals.
Known Bugs:
-The drone cant fly through most portals, and even if it can, weird animation glitches may happen. For example if you fly through the nether portal on ttt_minecraft_b5, you wont be able to see the missile explosions anymore, even though the explosions still do damage, until you return to the same dimension as yourself.
-On certain older maps (e.g. ttt_island_2013) the areaportals break. If you view the world through the drone, any textures behind an areaportal become invisible
