Stratos Corsair
Introducing the Stratos Corsair, the latest build from Filbert Shipyards!
The Stratos Corsair is a pirate-themed Core-9 ship inspired by the Cumulus Corsair as seen in Season 3 of the Mandalorian.
The Stratos is designed to spawn in at Core-9 as a functional SV carrier/mobile base CV, but it can be upgraded from there to fit a number of different roles based on what your need is. There are many turret mount points across the hull, room for all medium and small shield parts as well as 1 large shield capacitor, room to add thrusters for High-G flight, more generators, etc.
The Stratos was built for Reforged EDEN
The main design idea was to build a ship around the concept of the Cumulus Corsair with ground-pounding zirax-style turrets on the belly for POI raiding, but those points work equally as well with automated mining turrets. You can also use the Stratos as a Battlecarrier, though its lack of agility given its shape means its best suited for EMP and cruise type turrets to attack from range.
The Stratos Corsair is capable of landing on planets (it utilizes blast doors as supports that DO NOT NEED TO BE EXTENDED TO WORK) with a ladder at the front for reaching the ground. The Stratos can carry SVs but cannot accommodate HVs
