All pike units have 240 men instead of 160.
Yea pike walls are beautiful but underwhelming. This mod tries to keep as close to the original game as possible while increasing effectiveness and loveliness of pike units.
Also, look at those smug pike men. Spears got to carry heavier shield, armor, have to risk getting hacked with a shorter reach, AND have to train all the hours for some passable attack and defense. Meanwhile pikes just party all the time with girls and end up with ♥♥♥♥♥♥ attack and defense. Then they have the balls to show up for war in basically peasant clothes with a pole? A mob with long sticks, that’s what they are! And they get paid about the same as spears? There goes the incentive for higher education and training!
No, I say. Take your lesser pay you ♥♥♥♥ing slackers. We are gonna pack 240 of you in a unit of the same pay as 160 of the better trained spears. How that feel?
