SDN-04 M8 Advent (Corvette)
The Advent class has room for more hardpoints, an additional system upgrade slot and more durability over the Pioneer class corvette. It also has four docking ports (ventral, dorsal, port and starboard) over the Pioneer’s single aft docking port, allowing it to dock in a number of different orientations to the Pioneer.
Some Advent Corvettes have been purchased by private companies or factions and retrofitted for other roles or purposes. Such third party retrofits are not used or manufactured by SDN, and will not be found in the SDN database.
This design is made for Free Play with building knowledge unlocked from the start, and unlimited max. ship size enabled. It may also work in the Normal mode scenario, and Classic scenario.
This design has changed a bit since March 18, 2021.
– Ship is 50% larger.
– Ship name and Emblem blocks have been added.
– Hull and engines have more detail.
– Turret designs are added to all turret base blocks.
– Docking ports are now functional.

SDN-04 M12 Axton (Heavy Corvette) – 5k shield and 2 additioanl point defense hardpoints.
Due to a bug with Middle Block Snapping on sloped surfaces like Edge and Turret Edge Base blocks, specific Grid Spacing values are required on Local Snapping depending on the size of the hardpoint you are trying to mount certain size turrets to. Here is a table with the values I have used:
If any of my designs do not allow turret placement with the above Grid Spacing values on Local Snapping, please post a comment on the design’s publication page as I may have forgot to update the turret edge blocks for some.
