Alioth – Lonestar logistic and Mining Operation [ Mine blueprint ]
While usually sub-contracting its mining operation to smaller mining buisness in high seciurity sectors, sometimes Lonestar operations happens in such dangerous territories that no sane venture capitalist would dare to risk its assets no matter how lucrative the deal might be, this is when the Alioth intervene, based of the internal of a Mizar outpost and the exterior defensive capacity of the Albireo , the Aliot comes equipped with everything needed to mine in extreme hostile space.
The alioth also come equipped with a massive liquid crystal mining laser which beam is so bright it can ben seen light years away even when operating in a sector filled with gas clouds and dust.
while some could question the security risk of a bright star-like torch that would draw attention from local pirates, Lonestar reputation alone is usually enough to provoke the opposite reaction, and its not uncommon to find abandonned pirate outposts a few month after one Alioth is deployed….
Some would also speculate that the mining laser has other usages with the amount of "cut in half" pirate dreadnought wrecks that often float around such installations.
