The page you’re on is the result of my attempt to heavily modify and improve very old addon by filz0. The reason behind this is that I was shocked to see such and outdated (common, it was last updated 6-7 years ago) addon on several shi.tty HL2RP servers. Unfortunately, soon I’ve lost interest in development and haven’t touched it in about a year. And so today, at 3rd July, I’m finally releasing my unfinished project to public. Pity I won’t be working on it anymore.

I need to clarify that It works perfectly fine and I call it unfinished just because it misses some features I was planning to add (e. g. Combine Mortar with cooldown).

Features:
  • Duplicator and Sandbox persistence compability added;
  • Lots of code duplication removed and entity bases for simillar entities created;
  • Different entities fixed (Combine APC, Supply Crate and etc.);
  • Combine Binoculars completely reworked and gained more sensible zoom;
  • Combine Lock functionality restored;
  • Added holder to all entities without physics to ease their movment with physgun and possibility to save;
  • Thousand of (i bet) never used by players commands removed and more entities added with the same purpose they existed for;
  • And more things I can’t really remember.

What was removed and why:
  • Large ammo: already exists in GMOD;
  • SWEPs: much better guns exist on workshop and hey – SWEPs are techiclly entities, but not in logic of this addon nature;
  • Armed SMG Grenade and alike: don’t and won’t properly work outside of weapon logic (Zombine Grenade, for instance, already exists ingame);
  • Fish Pool: from the wiki – Killing the func_fish_pool does not delete the fish, the fish entity can be killed as a workaround;
  • Player SpeedMod and etc.: admin mods were not invented yesterday;
  • Combine Terminals and Dropship Container: literally props with no functionality;
  • Combine Mortar: I’m lazy fu.ck;
  • Core Ball: from the wiki – For the core to be rendered correctly, it must be placed exactly at the (2688, 12139, 5170) location, as this value is hard-coded in the Core shader for normal vector computation;
  • Half-Life 2 AI: most of entities in this category can be replaced with much better addons. Hovewer, I’ve kept some global state, BUT moved them to the "Spawn menu -> Utilities -> Admin -> Global states".
