Whistle Piece – Yondu’s Arrow
I saw a Lazy Mattman video, where he mentioned Yondu from the guardian of the galaxys arrow. So I thought why not try, resulting in my first very simple mod.
This mod introduces a new collectible item, "Yondu’s Headpiece", an active item that spawns the Yaka arrow next to isaac. By using the item you can make isaac whistle making the arrow target the closest enemy to the arrow in the direction shot.
The arrow deals damage based on the arrows speed, while stats does the following:
Tear rate: Max hits before returning and hit rate
Tear Damage: Scales damage up
Shot Speed: Acceleration and max speed
This means the arrow is weak without stats but with it’s very strong
Also also the arrow now inherits some tear effects, I’ll prolly be updating these when i feel like it but currently they are the following effects:
Multishot -> Extra arrows
Firemind -> Apply burn
Common Cold -> Apply poison
Mom’s contact -> Freeze effect
Mom’s perfume -> Fear effect
Lump of coal -> Increase damage based on range
Parasite and crickets body -> hits spawn extra tears
Sinus infection -> Spawn boogers
Brimstone -> Laser effect at high speeds
Technology -> Jet lasers
Technology zero -> Electricity around the arrow
Note: I haven’t watched ‘Guardians of the Galaxy 2’ since its release and chose not to research stuff for this mod.
Notenote: Also, there are most likely bugs hidden in this, since i made it in a day, so do tell me if you find some.
