Description:

For the modern shunting service, SBB purchased 21 Ee 922s in 2009 and SBB Cargo 30 Eem 923s (Stadler Butler) in 2012. The aim was to replace the old shunting locomotives and also to massively reduce CO2 emissions in the shunting service with the hybrid locomotive.

Available: from 2009

Maximum speed: 40 – 100 km/h
Purchase price: 2.77 – 2.78 millions
Maintenance costs: 462 – 463 thousand

Eem 923 (Stadler Butler):
