Vario LF3+
VarioLF3 is a Czech eight-axle articulated tram car with a variable floor level. Developed by Pragoimex. The proportion of the low floor is 50%.
The tram car is intended for operation on city high-speed tram lines. It consists of three sections placed on four wagon bogies. The sections are articulated, the hinges are located above the middle bogies. Floor height combined 860/350 mm. All entrances between the carriage bogies have a reduced floor level 350 mm above the track level.
To move the wagon, four driven full-revolving traction wagon bogies with double suspension of the COMFORT type are used. The basis of the trolley is a divided articulated frame. Each bogie is driven by its own longitudinally mounted asynchronous traction motor. The torque is transferred by means of a articulated shaft and an axial gearbox with a bevel hypoid gear.
Transistor equipment type TV EUROPULSE is used with non-synchronous motors with a total traction power of 720 kW. One inverter is for one trolley. The CECOMM microprocessor control system is used to control and diagnose electrical equipment. The equipment is located on the roof of the vehicle.
