The Botanist legacy allows you to play as the proprietor of a small plant store. Find mysterious varieties of plants, discover the secrets to growing them, then sell them to the right customers or use them for your own occult purposes. Ultimately, figure out how to grow yourself under the guidance of the Ring-Yew… or a more dangerous Hour.
Features
- Collect the 27 plants for your shop. Each one requires different conditions, ingredients and handling in order to grow, and has powerful properties that can be discovered through book entries. Send graspweed to bind your enemies, infest corpses with ghoul’s mould or just make some delicious gingerbread.
- Meet secretive customers in your shop and provide them the correct plants to suit their needs.
- Ascend under the Ring-Yew by following the various stages of growth before your thirst consumes you, or follow another path for the 4 new endings, including a battle with a new immortal enemy.
- Concoct 14 potions with your ingredients to bring them to their full potential. Lose yourself in the fantasies of absinthe, poison your enemies with mad honey, or find the recipe for the fabled panacea.
Compatibility
No other mods are required to run this mod, though if you use shelves they are available in Hawthorn. It modifies quite a few things, and while it’s designed to be as compatible as possible, it is best to be careful when combining other larger mods. If in doubt, please ask me about specific ones. You may also encounter issues if you use the 2021 version of the game.
Help & Issues
There is a document with all the puzzle solutions if you need (English[drive.google.com] / Chinese[drive.google.com]), but the game does have a hint system. If you find any bugs or oversights, comment here or ping literally_laila in the CS discord, and I’ll try to fix it as soon as possible.
