Description:
Mod updated: Now working with 1.37.X

This is a watered down version of Trade Goods Expanded merged with Extended Timeline; this means manufactories, mines, buildings and 16 goods (produced by manufactories) are not present.
This is because the mod always caused crashes with games that started at year 2 and reached 1600 +- 200 years so this is an attempt to make a more stable mod.
If the issue persists, the mod will be abandoned.

Issue persisted, now crashing at year 1834. If anyone has a long run save and has been able to keep playing without issues please let me know as I can’t figure out what is wrong with my save. If no fix is found, don’t expect further updates.

This does NOT require Extended Timeline and Trade Goods Expanded

Why?

Because this is a MERGED mod. It already contains everything both mods contain individually.

I used Extended Timeline and Trade Goods Expanded on their latest release so far (19/Jun/2024)

How does it work?

I just manually merged the files using WinMerge, Notepad++ and created custom merged textures with Photoshop.

Downsides? YEAH

You might have already noticed the main issue, historical accuracy.

My ET>TGE merging method might cause innacuracies because I have to fit TGE stuff in Extended Timeline so there might be stuff that is redundant, dumb or whatever you want to call it.

As I’m not a hardcore EU IV player I only do this for fun when I come back to the game. So I personally don’t mind about those innacuracies.

HOWEVER, you can let me know about stuff that needs fixing and I’ll get to it.

So yeah, enjoy, have fun and let me know if there’s something wrong with it. I have only launched it to see if the UI and trade goods are fine, and so far, everything looks good.

Known issues:

VIsual bug that you might encounter: Not colonized provinces showing trade goods and not unknown trade goods after activating TGE mod
– Just save and load your save again, this will set as unknown the trade goods in uncolonized provinces

Countries may show up way earlier than it’s intended (e.g. Norway, Novogorod and Sweden at year 2).
– I found no fix for this no matter what I tried. If anyone has more insight about what could be causing this issue, please let me know so it can be fixed.
