Advanced Elemental & Status Skills (DE)
This is my very first mod of any kind and also still a WIP. I am still learning things about the editor and modding in general. Please remember that when downloading this mod. Some of these skills may have balancing issues as well as I have not fully tested all of them in gameplay.
This mod adds a total of 36 (and expanding) new skills that add to the elemental & status effect aspect of the game. There are skills here for pretty much any magic/elemental build you are looking to make. All skills can be purchased from Sieg Wahrhiet in Fort Joy on the stairs at the start, in town on the right of where you first enter, in the Driftwood town center where all of the merchants are, towards the rear of the Lady Vengeance in front of the captain’s wheel, and right at the start of Arx. You can’t miss him, he has big bulky red armor and white hair.
These are meant to mainly be mid – late game skills and to try and balance them a bit, this mod requires a bit of work to obtain the skills. Some of them have pretty hefty requirements. Check in-game for yourself 😉
- Ignescent – -50% to all resistances and sets buring for 3 turns. Creates a fire surface within a 3m radius around the target
- Strenuous Eruption – Sets necrofire on target and causes them to bleed fire for 5 turns. When 5 turns have passed the target will erupt in a fiery explosion
- Will of Fire – Grants complete immunity to fire and adds ferocity for 3 turns
- Caged Sun – Harness solar energy and use it to blind targets within a 5m radius for 1 turn and burn them for 2 turns
- (ULTIMATE) Conflagration – Call forth destruction from the heavens. Rain down the destructive power of 100 explosive meteorites. Beware, this skill is so powerful that even the most adept have trouble controlling it
- Hypochondria – -50% to all resistances and sets poisoned for 3 turns. Creates a poison surface within a 3m radius around the target
- Astute Inoculation – Grants complete immunity to poison and adds enlightenment for 3 turns
- Acid Rain – Cast a volley of 5 poisonous projectiles in a 3m radius down randomly from the sky leaving poison surfaces
- Caroming Venom – Shoot a poisonous dart that ricochets off of up to 5 enemies and leaves small pools of poison
- Sickly Push – Rush forward, leaving a trail of poison and sacrifice some magic armor to become immune to poison for 1 turn
- Noxious Aura – You stink. Really bad. For 2 turns enemies within a 5m radius of you become poisoned
- Slug Ray – Shoot a beam in a line that deals damage to enemies and leaves poison surfaces and clouds behind
- (ULTIMATE) Pestilence – The infectious apocalypse has begun. 100 acidic projectiles rain down, leaving a field of cursed poison within a 15m radius. Beware, this skill is so powerful that even the most adept have trouble controlling it
- Earth Shatter – Cause the ground to erupt into a pool of oil and knock down enemies in a wide area
- Pyroclastic Shard – Throw a rock covered in oil that ricochets off of up to 5 enemies and leaves small oil surfaces
- Spark Step – Create 3 puddles of cursed oil which slow and have a chance to explode when someone walks on it
- Hypothermia – -50% to all resistances and sets frozen for 3 turns. Creates an ice surface within a 3m radius around the target
- Cold Intrepidity – Grants complete immunity to ice and adds courage for 3 turns
- Cold Hands – Reach out and freeze a single enemy in arms length for 3 turns that cannot be unfrozen or take damage until time is up
- Frost Bolt – Shoot an icy shard that ricochets off of up to 5 enemies and leaves small ice surfaces
- Overflow – Cast a rain that leaves a water surface in a 15m radius and lasts 6 turns
- (ULTIMATE) Desolation – A new ice age is imminent. Summon a massive hail storm of 100 ice projectiles that leave ice surfaces everywhere within a 15m radius. Beware, this skill is so powerful that even the most adept have trouble controlling it
- Conduit – -50% to all resistances and sets stunned for 3 turns. Creates an electrified water surface within a 3m radius around the target
- Charged Vigilance – Grants complete immunity to electricity and adds alertness for 3 turns
- Five Finger Discharge – Shoot out small condensed lightning balls from your fingertips at 5 different targets that each deal Air damage, shock for 1 turn, and leave small electrified water surfaces
- Fog Shroud – Shroud an enemy with a dense electrified fog that leaves them blinded for 1 turn
- (ULTIMATE) Ruination – Show your enemies the might of the thunder god. Summon a chaotic storm of 100 lightning strikes that each leave a puddle of electified water on any surface struck. Beware, this skill is so powerful that even the most adept have trouble controlling it
- Bloodshot – Call down a projectile of blood towards an enemy that deals damage and causes bleeding for 2 turns
- Charming Elixir – Throw a special concoction that charms anyone it comes into contact with in a 2m radius
- Generous Salve – Toss a mixture that heals all within a 5m radius
- Maelstrom – -50% to all resistances for 3 turns and creates a random surface within an 5m radius around the target
- Meltdown – Explode existing oil and poison surfaces, melt ice, and turn water into poison all in a 10m radius
- Pincushion – Deal piercing damage to an enemy and cripple them for 3 turns, completely ignoring physical armor
- Jar of Insects – Toss a jar of poisonous insects at a target which deal piercing damage and poison for 2 turns
- Exasperating Brew – You and your allies in a 5m radius become enraged and gain increased physical armor for 2 turns after coming into contact with this odd mixture of ingredients
- Enchanting Tonic – Toss a liquid imbued with magic that adds magic armor and haste to you and your allies within a 5m radius for 2 turns
Current known issues:
1. Somtimes Sieg’s dialogue won’t appear for some reason. I don’t know why, but you should still be able to trade with him
Made this mainly for friends and I, but hopefully some of you enjoy it
Update 1
-Changed icons of skillbooks to their correct type
-Fixed not being able to learn Caged Sun
-Scaled skill damage a bit
-Added Sieg to the lady Vengeance in act 2 & 3 and at the start of Arx
-Now you do not have to be lvl 5+ in order to buy the skills from Sieg

-Five Finger Discharge now shocks instead of stuns to balance it more

-Caroming Venom, Pyroclastic Shard, and Frost Bolt have all been updated to do slightly more damage and now only target enemies
-You can now loot Sieg on death but he is very hard to kill
