1st Polish Armoured Division Uniforms – World War Two
This mod adds re-textured uniforms for Faces of War that are from the 1st Polish Armoured Division. Formed in the United Kingdom from Polish soldiers that escaped Poland in 1939, the 1st Polish Armoured Division went into action in Normandy in 1944. They fought in the famed Falaise Pocket Battle and most notably on Hill 262 where they held out for a number of days from many German Divisions trying to escape. They would continue to fight under First Canadian Army during the liberation of the Channel Ports in France, Belgium and the Netherlands.
