Reborn
This mod seeks to moderate the easy availability of resurrection in the game, without removing it entirely, by tying the mechanic to your source. One way or another, a source point will be required to resurrect.
Changes:
1. Scrolls will allow you to resurrect a target by using the TARGET’s source. Scrolls can only target players who have at least one source point remaining, and source will be removed upon resurrection.
2. All players receive a resurrection spell that allows them to resurrect an ally using their own source. The spell requires 3 AP, 1 SP, and has a 5-round recovery.
3. The Idol of Rebirth requires a source orb to be recharged instead of a resurrection scroll. However, you can also recharge the idol by activating it in your inventory when you have at least one source point. This will consume a source point and grant you a refreshed Idol. This requires three action points.
4. Using a bedroll will revive everybody in the party.
I recommend combining this mod with my other mod, Resourceful.
