Slingbow Vanilla Standalone
Tired of running out of ammo? Want to shoot rocks at your enemies out of a slingshot?
Look no further than the Slingbow!
This mod is the standalone of the Slingbow that was also added to my Crossbows Enhanced Plus Slingbow mod. The Slingbow in this mod has the same damage stats as the vanilla Junkbow, rather than the updated stats. New Item:
Sling-bow – Same damage stats as the Junkbow, but with slightly worse accuracy and slightly worse range.
The ammo for the Sling-bow is a new item called Small Rocks. Small Rocks can be gathered by building a Pile of Rocks, which has no building requirements and is located under the Camping section of the build menu. The Pile of Rocks is dependent on Stone %, but even with a low Stone %, it still does not take long to gather. This is why the Sling-bow is so weak, it essentially has infinite ammo. You just have to stop and gather the ammo first.
The Sling-bow is sold at shops you would typically find crossbows and can be crafted after unlocking Crossbow Crafting.
This mod should be 100% compatible with other mods. The Sling-bow is a new addition, rather than a vanilla edit, so it should still show up in most cases. I also made this mod use slightly altered names from my Crossbows Enhanced Plus Slingbow mod, so technically both are compatible as well. I do NOT recommend installing both as it would undermine the intention of Crossbows Enhanced, but this name changing allows both mods to be compatible in case someone accidentally installs both (i.e. me when I was play-testing this mod).
