Description:

A simple mod that makes cultures contribute equally to the appearances of characters of a hybrid culture.

In CK3 a culture can have multiple ethnicities, each assigned a specific weight. For example, the Tocharian culture consists of the following ethnicities:

    7 = arab
    5 = mediterranean

This means that when a character of the Tocharian culture is created, in 7 out of 13 instances it will have an Arab appearance and in 5 out of 13 instances it will have a Mediterranean appearance.

When hybridizing cultures, the resulting culture will inherit the sum of all its parents’ ethnicities. So, because Norse has the following ethnicities:

    70 = caucasian_northern_blond
    15 = caucasian_northern_ginger
    10 = caucasian_northern_brown_hair
    5 = caucasian_northern_dark_hair

And Greek has the following ethnicities:

    10 = mediterranean_byzantine

A hybrid Greco-Norse culture will exhibit the following ethnicities:

    70 = caucasian_northern_blond
    15 = caucasian_northern_ginger
    10 = caucasian_northern_brown_hair
    5 = caucasian_northern_dark_hair
    10 = mediterranean_byzantine

This means that Greco-Norse characters will have a byzantine appearance only 1 out of 11 instances, resulting in a Greco-Norse gene pool that heavily favors Scandinavian appearances.

In this mod, I have modified the culture files so that for every culture the total values of its ethnicities amount to 100. This ensures that a hybrid culture will exhibit ethnical appearances from each parent culture in equal proportions. In the case of Greco-Norse hybrid characters, they will just as often appear Greek as they will appear Norse.

I left the frequencies of the ethnicities for each culture as they were, with a 1% rounding margin. If you want to change the frequencies, simply go in to the files of this mod and alter the values in any way you see fit.
