Historrically Accurte Weapons for DarthMod
This is a VISUAL mod that changes the weapons of several units, without changing any of the stats.
The changes are thus:
1. All Katana wielding units (except Katana Wako) were given "boshin_cav_lance" to serve as Sankaku Yari.
2. Gozen’s Hime Heroines and Katana Ashigaru were given Naginata.
3. All generals and their bodyguards were given Yari.
Historically, during the Sengoku period, swords would be used only as a secondary weapon (with the exception of the rare Nodachi), while the main weapons were usually Yari polearms. The Naginata was in sharp decline, and was used primarily by warrior monks. The Nagamaki, although uncommon, was used by the Oda and Uesugi clans.
This version is only compatible with DarthMod, but if there’s a demand, I will create one for vanilla as well.
