Rose Garden
This mod adds yet another festive improvement for all civs, Rose Garden. Unlocked at Castles Technology, and provides you with Culture and Amenities.
Rose Gardens (rosariums) are specialized flower gardens built mostly for cultivation of roses, of all colors. Ancient rose gardens were in China, Babylon and Egypt, as well as Rome. From 14th century onwards, with the evolution of troubadours and courtly love, roses and rosariums became connected with love and Saint Valentine’s day. Nowadays rosariums are often a site for weddings, especially on Valentine’s day.
- Provides 100% of its tile’s Appeal as Culture.
- +1 Amenity
- One per city, not buildable on Snow and Tundra or any features
Gains additional Amenity with Opera and Ballet.
Compatible with all versions of the game.
