Better Charge Mutator (UNIVERSAL) [EA26+]
This mutator modifies the behaviour the Charge/Wind up mechanic of weapons (like Miniguns, LMG’s, heavy machineguns, etc), to start shooting before completely loaded, and slowly increasing the speed until the regular one, all of this in the original charge time.
Plus, when you release the mouse button, the charge doesnt reset, it slowly decreases, allowing you to have way more controll and prediction in the weapon.
This mod is UNIVERSAL, meaning that it works in any weapon, vanilla or from any mod, aslong they use the vanilla charge mechanic. This at same time, means that it will not work 100% perfect, since some mods has different options that can mess with the mod functionality, or make it just work ""ugly"".
(This does NOT apply to vehicle weapons)
If the mutator gets enought support, i will consider adding config, and the option for modders to easly add personalization compatible with this mod (Custom wind-up shot sounds, wind up sound while well, charging, etc), or blacklist for them (Add certain component to your weapon so it will be ignored by the mutator behaviour)
As final, i will let the script PUBLIC for if anyone wants to modify it to work in individually your own weapon (I will appreciate if you add credits):
