Lord of the Rims – Facial Stuff Patch
This patch adds Facial Stuff support for Dwarves, Hobbits, Elves and Half Elves from the Lord of the Rims mods. You must load Facial Stuff before this patch.
The image above includes custom eyes and mouths from the mod RimFace for Facial Stuff 1.0 by Психодозер, which is not included. I didn’t realize until after I made the photo, too lazy to fix it. It should work fine with the default eyes and mouths.
Elves: No beards or wrinkles
Half-Elves: Beards, no wrinkles
Dwarves: No beards because they are added on top with the Dwarves mod and not compatible with Facial Stuff at this time. No mouths either, because beards are in the way.
Hobbits: No beards. No mouths because they don’t fit on their face. Unfortunately I don’t know how to reposition or scale eyes or mouths, so they look a little weird.
1. Dwarf beards don’t turn when you have face turn enabled, because their beard is not from Facial Stuff and doesn’t react properly.
2. Hobbits don’t have mouths (if they are enabled), because they aren’t positioned properly and clip in to the chin area and look horrible. I don’t know how to reposition/scale them either.
3. The Face Styler popup is a little buggy for these races. You can’t change skin tone for some reason. You also need to click the hairstyle button to change eyes/brows/etc. These are problems with Facial Stuff that I have no clue how to fix.
4. I haven’t seen a half-elf, but the support for them should work.
This mod is not affiliated with Lord of the Rims by Jecrell, or Facial Stuff by Killface.
Also, I’m not a modder. This was made from the AlienFaces 0.8 example mod by Killface. I actually used AlienFaces 1.0 by InsertKey who updated it. It’s mainly just a simple XML change to support the above races. I likely won’t be able to fix any issues with this mod. If you are able to create a better integration I would be happy to suggest your own instead of this one. At this time, I didn’t find any compatibility patches for these races.
