Internal Strife
A mod aimed to increase difficulty and interactivity in internal management, as well as to reduce the amount of blobs on the map as a whole. I have tested the mod a lot, and can confirm collapsing is a skill issue.

KEY FEATURES

What this mod isn’t:
A "Die after X Years mod". This mod isn’t like those, and instead adds gameplay.
A Difficulty Setting. The modifiers affect both the player and the AI, leading to much more dynamic game scenarios.
A Buggy Mess. Due to the relative simplicity of the mod, nigh no bugs are included!
Other important features:
Instead of making the player memorize a slew of new mechanics, this mod makes use of mechanics already implemented by paradox and makes them much more prevalent!
Tested with ET, and Vanilla, so should presumably work with any modset (although make work better with some than others)
Numerous new things one must manage, with added risks and gains to each.
WARNING
This Mod is very unkind to blobs that exist at the start of the game, and may cause them to pop much, much earlier than they should. (Read: Ming) So be wary of this. New blobs typically emerge, but rebalancing for big nations (Such as letting large empires that exist at the start avoid the modifier for some time) will be in the works if enough attention is brought to this

Patch Notes
Update 1: Fixed Land Localisation issue as well as reduced legitimacy loss from estate land
V1.1
– Added Several new modifiers for war exhaustion, overextension, and Being over Gov Cap
– Tweaked several modifiers to be more or less punishing
– Buffed Empire of China to try and prevent collapse
– Decadance can now happen to Theocracies and Republics
V1.2
-Reduced the intenisty of several modifiers, including overextension and stability cost
– Buffed prosperity to incentivize careful play.
– Made the capital state more stable so small nations are stronger
V 1.2.1: Prosperity
– Made tall play more rewarding by making unrest reductions for development
– Stability Being high is much more useful
– Overall more possible to have a stable empire (though difficult)
V 1.2.2:
– When a province is occupied, it loses one development and it’s state loses all prosperity.
– War exhaustion for occupied provinces and blockaded ports increased
– Prosperity nerfed slightly, now gives less goods produced.
V 1.2.3:
– Rebalanced a lotta modifiers
– When armies of a different religion occupy a province they will destroy any church in the province
– You will now gain unrest globally for devastation in provinces
V 1.3.1:
1.3 is going to be a lot of adding back the difficulty, as this mod is too easy
Many changes, but blobs should go back to dying again

Added in cascading rebels, similar to rise and fall

Removed Natives becoming kingdoms via descicion, added tech cost for natives, altered rebel sizes and starting army sizes.

Made converting provinces reduce separatism because it was previously stacking far too high for small to midsize empires
made it so releasing a nation greatly reduces nationalism, which will allow for countries to integrate small pieces of land quickly
