The Kunoichi – Deadly Women of the Shinobi

Deep within the dark forest and high in the mountains of Iga, the Shinobi schools lie. Hidden from all, but those that know how to contact them.
But another school… resides far deeper, one far more sinister in its application of "talent" in the art of silent murder.

Kunoichi Mistress voice:" Welcome… to the School of the Kunoichi.
Here you will find the mistresses of the dark. The swift shadows that blend in with the masses in ways you’ve barely ever considered. One of our students may have stood behind you without you even remotely giving the thought… that a "she" could be your Death.

Peasant women, noble ladies, former Onna-bugeisha, passionate geisha, and more, are but some of the women across Japan that we have accepted to learn our Shadowy Arts.
All of them, have forsaken honor and their former lives alike to serve the Code of the Shinobi.
They answer to the Dark Masters… and will defend Iga when called upon.

But you, good Sir or Miss, you may hire them to do your bidding if you can afford them.

We will grant you a total of two sisterhood troops. Our finest and most skilled of our Clan.
They will kill for you, they will spy for you and they will take care of any that dare threaten your Clan with strike seen only when it is already …too… late.

The Deadly Kunoichi are at your service, traveler.

AUTHOR NOTE: Dont be fooled by the unit stats. Their melee defence is very very high but thats because their armor is incredibly low. This is because of how important armor matters in shogun 2. They are not overpowered anymore than the other heroes. Except for their obvious stealth capabilities and ranged dirty fighting. In melee however theyll stand their own alike katana hero, but unlike katana hero, if you shoot them, they die… fast. There in lies the balance of the Ninja. if you get seen… you die 🙂 More info in Update notes.

So, friends. The Kunoichi. Female Ninja. Here to hack down any man, woman or child at your order.
The unit is more special than my other ones (Gets threatened with flamethrower." and thats because although the stats on the unit are a mix of Katana hero and Yari Hero in terms of attack and defense, their armor is very low.
They possess the dark arts of the Shinobi however and that means armor doesn’t matter to them in terms of attack. They will cut right through enemy armor with their armor-piercing knowledge, making them exceptionally deadly in melee.

On top of that this unit has 2 ranged attacks.
Nr 1: The Shuriken. It’ll do significant damage, and on top of that…
Nr 2: They also have blinding grenades. Because these ladies are so deadly I’ve also edited some extra special things here.

The range of the Shuriken is further than normal ninja bombs, blinding grenade range has been increased for everyone.
Furthermore, the lasting effects of blinding grenades and whisteling arrows has been increased as well.
This is because ninja tools are supposed to matter. Its dirty fighting and should make you want to use em and not ignore them.

Also, their shurikens apply a natural debuff of whistling arrows to anyone they hit. Yes thats right. So be careful who you order them to throw at.

HOWEVER. All this is all well and good but stuff we’ve seen for a while. A ninja is supposed to hide though, right? And thats exactly…what these ladies do. Therefor I’ve edited their active stealth ability to give is a 3 second cooldown and it lasts 5 minutes.
Yes thats right, when you click active stealth your unit is forever invisible, until it gets within around 10-15 meters of an enemy unit.
You got the element of surprise always, you dont have to worry about spamming stealth, you can run anywhere with it and it’ll be a true master of the shadows.
They also climb walls super fast and can shoot while remaining hidden.

On top of that the unit has a lot of active abilities. Banzai, Second Wind and much more because an elite unit should feel like an elite unit. Much alike my Dragon Guard.

The unit is recruited from the Legendary Ninja building but also the criminal syndicate. You can have a total of 2. 50 women per company. They are expensive and have high upkeep naturally because they are very strong. So you’ll get your money’s worth. I guarantee it.

That being said, take care of arrow / gunfire because they will die to that and fast. High melee and stealth skills come at the price of something. And that is armor so beware.

On top of that I got another mod coming very soon that’ll add more to all my mods combined. A smaller, edited version of Weapon. The original adds a lot of stuff like overriding armors and such and its very annoying imo.

So I’m gonna upload a smaller version with just scabbards and such thatll make all my units, and yours look much better without touching upon vanilla armor textures.

Now, go assassinate some people. The ladies are bloodthirsty !
