Akshina Okhotniki – The Rodina’s Rangers
"The Okhotniki of the Akshina Tzarist secret police was first established during the reign of Tzar Alexis Romanoff, on the devastating aftermath of the Great War Against Chaos. This crack team of elite marksmen was trained to hunt down Chaos warband stragglers that survived the conflict and still haunt Kislev’s vast tundra and neighboring woodlands. To this day, they wage an unseen war against many ruinous elements that threaten the Motherland; be it foreign spies, agents of the Dark Gods or rebellious serfs and boyars who would dare oppose the rule of the Tzars and Tzarinas."
This mod adds the Akshina Okhotniki unit to Kislev. They are a Tier 3 unit adept in ranged warfare and can hold their ground in melee combat.
The unit can use the Sniper Stance ability to further increase the range and accuracy of their shots, as well as use limited but deadly special ammunition in combat. In the campaign, the ammunition needs to be unlocked via technology, namely Grom’s Telemetry and Streltsi Arsenal, which requires control of Erengrad and Praag respectively.
Akshina Okhotniki can be recruited at the Silent Grove, Tier 2 of the Kislev Woodlands building tree.
